My Passion

In the book “Success Through Tradition and Passion”, which portrays some of Hesse’s best-known equestrian families, the chapter about my family is introduced with the words:

„For the Abhau family, equestrian sport is a way of life.“

Growing up in a family with a deep passion for equestrian sport, being around horses and dogs in a natural and intuitive way has been part of my life since early childhood. This is where my enduring passion for horses, dogs and competitive equestrian sport began.

Generations of my family have competed successfully in show jumping at advanced levels. As a result, I was introduced to show jumping and competitive equestrian sport from an early age and went on to compete successfully at advanced level myself, including as a member of a competitive squad.

Through my training in human healthcare, I became increasingly aware of how important freedom of movement is for every living being. Physiotherapy and osteopathy can play an important role in maintaining and improving mobility, as well as helping to restore it when it has been compromised.

Following my professional training in equine physiotherapy (DIPO), equine osteopathy (ZePo) and canine osteopathy (Release TGZ-Nord), these disciplines have become the focus of my professional work today.

"Life is Movement"

Andrew Taylor Still

My therapeutic goal is to preserve the natural mobility of horses and dogs or help them regain it when it has been compromised. By restoring and maintaining freedom of movement, they can reach their full potential and perform at their best.
